Born and raised in Sebastopol, Crimea. Finished his studies there in 2009. Since that year he held post-doctoral positions in the UK, Austria, Poland. His expertise includes the European far-right, their relations with Russia and illiberal tendencies in Central and Eastern Europe. He ‘s working at his new book Russia and the far right, which will be published later this year.
Anton Shekhovtsov is currently visiting fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences (Austria).

Editor of the 'Explorations of the Far Right' book series at ibidem-Verlag (Germany)
